In seeking to build out God's vision for a Christ-centered Community that allows us to live out our faith and provide the best home health for our community, our Grace Community has accomplished incredible things. Our Medicare Quality Rating is 4.5 stars out of 5, and we have the highest patient satisfaction with patients rating us 9 or 10 out of 10 in the area (top 10th percentile in all of California).
These outward signs of accomplishment are nice, but they do not truly reflect the amazing work God has been doing in us, and through us.
In reflecting this morning on Nehemiah, I came across this passage, "But now I said to them,'You know very well what trouble we are in. Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been destroyed by fire. Let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem and end this disgrace!' Than I told them about how the gracious hand of God had been on me, and about my conversation with the king."
The study Bible says, "We frequently underestimate people and don't challenge them with our dreams for God's work in the world. When God plants an idea in your mind to accomplish something for him, share it with others and trust the Holy Spirit to impress them with similar thoughts. Don't regard yourself as the only one through whom God is working. Often God uses one person to express the vision and others to turn it into reality. When you encourage and inspire others, you put teamwork into action to accomplish God's goals."
God has done amazing things, is doing amazing things, and we believe will continue to do amazing things in Grace Community. In light of the encouragement from Nehemiah, I'd like to share two visions we are actively seeking prayers and help with:
1. a daycare service that would serve our young staff and their families, as well as the community around us in Mountain View, and
2. building a faith-centered team of clinicians and staff for the Roseville area.
If you feel called to serve in either of these two initiatives, or you feel called to share another vision with us, please call us at (650) 784-0082 or email us at office@gracehh.org.
